...be able to run battlefield 2 with? I dont want opinions on battlefield 2, just a straight answer, Thanks in advance.

Depends upon the settings you desire and the power of your CPU. When the game was released the flagship card was the 6800 Ultra. The 5000 series is almost three generations behind and unfortunatly I don't believe it will run with "acceptable" framerates. With the release of the 7900 series and soon the 8000 series is has become afforable to upgrade to a 6800, unless you are unfortunate to still be running on a plain PCI bus. ^^;

I have a comp with a 5700le installed and it will not play battlefield 2 well at all , its laggy very jerky and fps of about 12 its not worth trying anything under a 6600gt on this game.

Probably not, it's not recent and even when it was it was low-end'ish.

i had the game a while back with my 3 year old dell's nvidia something. i couldnt do anything but play the cutscene on the game. i got some radeon idk what, it worked
