If the guy died a natural death, people would have been in total awe of him.

What Were You Thinking? [WTF]

N/Me

You know, most people thought Steve Irwin would someday get eaten by a crocodile.

No one thought he would get stabbed in the heart by a stingray.

Ah well, he was a good man.

Crikey!

I think we should honor the memory of Steve Irwin by doing extreme stuff with dangerous animals ourselves.

It's sad how Irwin died, but he died what he love doing; working with animals. What a great lost, he'll be greatly missed. R.I.P. Steve

Too bad he died, but it was bound to happen the way he constantly harassed animals.

Harassed? Excuse me? He saved animals, he didn't harass them.

If you want to see televised animal harrassment, just look at the Jackass shows where they're humping sharks and that one where they threw powder on people including a cat.

Yeah i was at the Fishermens Haven tribute. I said i would put on gwguru... the screenshots when i have time.

Steve Irwin was getting footage for a show he was making for his daughter. I think this was the best way for him to go.... doing what he loves. He was someone that caused no harm. He helped the world and the animals by being involved in wildlife groups, helping to save animals lives... I dont think there will be another Steve Irwin.. maybe some people like him, but never a man that was as dedicated as him. We will all remember, the man known as the croc hunter, wrestling crocodiles and helping them.. Whenever i think of him i think of his accent, saying G'day Mate! Steve, you were truly a difference in the world, and you will always remain with us.. Rest In Peace.

I think about alot of things.... like what blackholes can do.. how far space goes... but if you think about it, it seems famous people cant die. Like they are here to stay. But when they do die, reality kicks in.. and it seems like its fake or cant happen. Some of you may think im weird but if you actually think about stuff.. it makes sense.

also, i was supprised when i heard that he actually pulled the stinger out of his heart before he lost conciouness and died. R.I.P Steve Irwin, R.I.P. you will never be forgotten....

What do you mean he was very unlucky? The dude messes with dangerous animals and reptiles as a profession. I'm in awe and wonder that he lived this long.

Hell, if you went up close to one and played with it or something, it'd probably destroy you, too.

It only attacked because it was boxed in by two camera men and as a natural defence it stabbed upwards and cut his Aorta. Before he died he pulled the sting out himself

As an Australian myself, I never really liked him because I felt he was giving Australia the image of a wild adventurous place where everything is as exciting as going to a themepark etc. I felt that it was the wrong image for Australia. However, before you start flaming me for saying that, I think that I can understand that many people lost a hero and an idol (or even just one of their favourite television shows) so,

No offence to the guy, but think of the thousands of unsung people dying each day. People die. Life goes on. It may seem cold, but because I didn't know the guy my respects would seem hollow (to me anyway)

As an Aussie myself, I sort of felt he gave out the wrong image for Australia (everyone comes up to you and syas G'Day, Crikey, etc), but when I heard about it, it was kind of sad. It's like the wart on your face that you don't like, but when you go to have it removed, you decide to keep it because it defines you in a nice sort of way.

last night i was watching the news and they were showing interviews and such, and someone asked steve's daughter what she wanted to be when she grew up. She said "I want to help animals just like my dad." Although, no one could replace steve.. they could help the enviroment for the better.

Rest In Peace.
