Guild Wars Editions questions

I have some questions about some of these "special unique items" that come with the guildwars game of the year edition game. I checked guild wiki and saw that some of these weapons were imperect and has a permenant status, my question is... are they worth it? Even to sell, is it worth it?

Also, i have another question related to this quote from guildwiki. "Most Collector's Editions were sold through vendors (Gamestop, Electronics Boutique, etc.) Most of these versions came with a special in-game weapon that was only accessible to buyers of these special editions. They aren't more powerful than other items in the game, but often with fairly unique statistics or appearance."
Does anyone have this weapon/ weapons i want to see it and what they mean by "fairly unique statistics".

For the GOTY, they're all customized, it's only worth it if you want the unique skins. What that quote is referring to is the Prophecies preorder. The Bestbuy preorder came with a Canthan Targe (shield), it looks kinda cool like Captain America's shield but it only has 14 armor.

wait a sec, I got special edition of prophecies and didn't get anything but a PvP unlock code.

GOTY and CE came with all the cool stuff, the Special Edition was quite a let-down. The dinky pamphlet of an art book and everything crammed into the little dvd case so your art book gets all scratched up. And the bonuses soooo did not account for it costing as much as the CE.

Ok, but what about the unique statistics?..Also, would you mind posting a picture? About the canthan targe

A canthan targe with a prophecies preorder? I doubt it was canthan if it was with the prophecies preorder, but then again I didn't even know guildwars existed when the prophecies preorder came out...

Also, the prophecies preorder isnt the only thing that got special weapons. The factions one came with a assassin dagger, and a ritualist staff, but neither of them were really worth keeping after the first mission, because by then you usually had better weapons....

Also, things that come with preorders, or GOTY editions, have customized weapons, so you can't sell them to other players.

That's right Canthan Targe with Prophecies preorder. Had you bothered to click Skuld's link you'd have seen it plain as day......

I only mentioned the Prophecies preorder as the quote kinda implied that each vendor had a different item which only happened with Prophecies.
