Many pointed out the 6v6HA event it is fun because people are faster to form group and faster to start. That is due to 2 facts:
smaller group size = faster to form group
double fame = more people to play = more diversity + faster to form group
So the fundermental issues needing to solve are:
1. The time needed to form a group and start
2. The degree of build diversity
To solve problem 1, GW need a way to post LFG/GLF message ACROSS all districts, instead of using an inefficient intra-district LFG spam.
To solve problem 2, is to allow faster character change. For example when a player want to change its build, it should be fast and efficient. Recreate a new PvP character every time you need to adapt proves cumbersome. The faster a player can change its build, the faster he can adept to different groups. Therefore the group leader can run more creative build and find the right people faster, which is also indirectly releated to problem 1.
Why 6v6HA is more enjoyable? Please Solve the fundermental problem

6v6 is NOT more diverse, mostly just vimway
Servant of Kali
I read to the part when you said "more diversity" which means you didnt even play HA at all. If you did you would've seen every 2nd team is Vimway and Iway.
Good luck.
It's boring to me. 6v6 didnt bring more diversity.
I dont want HA to be 6v6, i want it to remain 8v8 and let iway n vimway have it. I want a NEW arena set with 6v6, with maps which favor different builds as well. I cannot play some builds in HA because the map style restricts em.
Good luck.

It was fun...at the start. I posted a few team builds on my guild's forum's (and one of them here after we moved on), experimented with adapting others to the new 6-man restriction. Double fame was nice for those of us who had no rank yet; better still for those of us with higher rank looking to advance.
But it's worn down on me now. Back to fighting ViMWAY teams; AoE smite everywhere now and IWAY chugging merrily along. Not that I have any problems with these pre-builds. I've played them and its nice to know that everyone knows there job in a PuG without having the skilllist and atty points typed out for them every time you group.
But the same could have been said for them when it was 8-man. And there's been no change in rank discrimination either; players still insisit on R3, r5, r9, etc, before they let you in a group. There's been no real change--in mentality or tactics--due to the 6-man.
The real reason why I think it was so much easier for you to get groups this weekend had little to do with only needing six players. It was a special event and there were a LOT more people in HA than usual. I'll be glad to go back to 8-man HA, though I will miss the easy double fame.

I am sorry if you are distracted. The point of the post is not focused on the state of the 6v6. It is about how to make the HA better regardless it is 8v8 or 6v6.

Hm...this post was made yesterday...oh well...now onto the real stuff
Both of your 2 problems is solved in GW:N. There was 2 pictures I saw a few days ago on the official Chinese GW site that hints these 2 features. I'll try to go find it and put it in this post.
UPDATE: Ah...found it...turns out it's not on the Chinese site after all

This solves your problem 2. Problem 1 is said in another interview...which...i cannot find atm

Its been said already... 6v6 didn't bring diversity. 1/2 the groups we fought were Vimway. 1/3 of them were Smite/Dual Smite in many forms. The other piece was divided into balanced, ele spike team, ranger spike teams.
It got extremely boring when on the run that led us to the Courtyard (while playing dual smite w/ Thumpers) we came across, a Vmway, a Vimway, a Smite w/ Thumpers, a Dual Smite w/ Thumpers + Vimway. Then we finally got to the Courtyard against... in total 5 Thumpers, the group with the tainted order won that one.
If it wasn't for double fame this weekend would've been so repetitive. More to the point all its done is make Rank 3 a completely worthless rank, any retard who has Eviscerate unlocked probably has rank 3 by now by Vimwaying the whole weekend.

I for one saw more NR/Tranq builds than ViMway.

On another note, I agree with your ideas. We need an easier LFG system and easier profession changing.
To people posting about the diversity of builds in HA, that is irrelevant, please focus on the ideas in the OP.
