Well, let me explain the serious problem I have first.
In fact, it's quite simple: I can't play GW anymore.
After having some serious internet problems (Connection failure etc.) we called a guy, and he fixed our internet . Ok, that's great I thought, so I wanted to play GW again. But then something strange happened.
When I opened GW, I got the screen that GW was connecting to A-Net, and that I needed to download a file (automatic updates). But then, IT WAS ONLY 1 FILE!. I tought, ok, I'm playing GW in a few seconds. Not! Somehow he just didn't wanted to download the file, and now I can't play GW anymore...
Anyone got any solutions?
Some weird things, please help.

I'm no expert but maybe you should check your firewall and see if it isnt allowing GW to run.
I suggest this because i run Zonealarm and every update it shows one file and then my firewall pops up and tells me that GW has changed since it last ran(well duh), it thinks that it might be a virus that was installed and so i have to tell it to allow the change.THEN once i do so it actually installs the update and lets me play. for zonealarm it pops right up on the screen but maybe you have to go into some screen and tell it to allow.

Thanks for your reply Monk Mystic.
However, I already checked my FireWall (European Version - <-- Dutch Guy), and it says that it will allow GW to run... I'm not sure about the next thing, but maybe I must open a port to play GW (not sure about this, just guessing).
Anyway, thanks for your help.

I believe the ports to be opened and/or fowarded are TCP 6112 and TCP 80. I'm sure that those are the two, although someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

What does it do now when you try to run guild wars? Does it try to download more files or does it just say "connecting to arenanet" and then give an error code or error message?
