With every "expansion" of Guild Wars I expect there to always be additional skills for the core classes (As it was done with Factions). In this way, the core professions will constantly get refreshed with new uses and abilities and players will continue to play them.
My question is: Will Anet ever release new skills for the Assassin or Ritualist (Or any Non-Core Class) in games to come? Will there ever be a game such as Factions:2 with new Assassin/Ritualist skills? If no new skills are indeed never released, won't the majority of players become "bored" with the non-core professions and stop using them?
I am mostly thinking of PvP here in the fact that Ritualists and Assassins don't have much use in say, GvG. All they really do is Spirit Spam and Gank, respectively. Some other new class in the future might do one of these jobs better or more effeciently making the older classes obsolete. After many expansions and no new skills for non-core classes, but with many new classes, I would expect the older non-core classes to become played less and less.
Any answers/thoughts?
New Assassin/Ritualist Skills?

As Inde closed this thread in Riverside (not a copy of this, but same subject), I'll do the same with the same comment. Gaile has said to wait until we hear something from them, and not to speculate. Remember the 123843284 release dates of Factions? And bogus professions? Etc, etc, etc. For some reason, they haven't told us yet, and in the interest of cutting down on rumors, closed.
