Well, my assassin build hasn't been working out so hot recently, so i figure its time to post it so that you people can take a look at it and tell me whats wrong with it and how to improve it. Without further ado, here it is:

12 + 1 +3 Dagger Mastery
11 + 1 Critical Hits
6 + 1 Shadow Arts

Techniques:
Death's Charge
Shadow Refuge
Leaping Mantis Sting
Jungle Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Twisting Fangs
Rez Sig

Pretty generic i know, but i'd like to see if theres anyway i could improve it. Currently i'm running A/W, but i don't use the W at all, and was thinking about changing to A/N to get Plague Touch, but i'm not sure. Well have at it!

You have quite a long chain of attack, which leaves you vulnerable to the chain being broken. If you want to use your seondary profession, take flurry and use it in conjunction with your combo to unload them much faster.

Your attributes are fine, but you might want to add one more point to crits to get the plus 3 energy. Your biggest problem is you just use too many attack skills. Try something smaller that lets you use more slots on your bar for other things. If you dont have many of the elite skills try simple fast recharging combos till you get some.

Here's a couple ideas:

Jagged Strike + Wild Strike + Critical Strike
This gives you a fast recharging combo that allows you to use things like Way of Perfection to pick up a few extra hp in the combo as well as reduces your energy costs.

Jagged Strike, Wild Strike, Death Blossom and Twisting Fangs.
This one you rotate between TF and DB. THey both have higher recharge times but JS and WS are low so you can use TF and then DB. This will usually drop most enemies in a round if do all six hits.

Both of these are pretty easy combos to get the skills for and they leave you with 4 or 5 slots open. Add in Shadow Refuge and a Rez sig if you need it and that still leaves you 2 or 3. You can use Way of Perfection and Critical Eye, or a couple of tele skills like recall and Deaths charge. Personally I just leave the rez sig at home cause being the sin if the group is wiping the healers will ignore you and you get dropped pretty fast no matter what and that gives me room to take whatever I want.

having too much attack skill with low Crit Strike will force you into a state that you may not finishyour combo before your energy depleted.

having 16 on DM won't do you much good because the chance of crit strike on lvl 22+ foe is rather low no matter what. it is better to hope that each precious Crit hit give you more enegy then trying to double hit enemy for damage(dagger dmg is sadly low)

like Xeln suggested, you only need 3~4 attack skills in PvE and they has to be fast recharge and energy efficient becasue you have more target need to be kill or wounded in PvE, and trust me, they have more health and armor then your human counter part.

personally I use Unsuspected strike + wild Strike + TF and DB. they work great for me, Unsuspected strike may be a little enery wasting but it suit my playing style. (killing the caster then are not attacked by my teammate so I always got the first hit andthat caster is busy with my teammate)

with this type of build you use 4 skill to continueously throwing out 2 combo and repeat them, leaving 4 skills slot to keep you alive or make your combo more efficient. also you will be more flexible in changing the defensive skill to suilt the variety of environment on PvE ralm. survival is important in PvE because people judge if you are Sin or Ass from how many time you die, they cannot see how many you kill. so you need to live.
