In-Game Items with CE? Any word yet?

Collector Editions: Previous chapters made it worth the cost. Upcoming chapter, doesn't look too promising.

So we all know that we get in-game items for each of the new classes in Nightfall with the purchase of the Pre-Release Packet, along with a few other bonuses (extra character slot, etc). But STILL no word on any in-game items/bonuses with the Nightfall CE? Seems odd to not release news of this.

Prophecies CE, received in-game items and Divine Aura and news came out months in advance. Factions CE received SEVERAL in-game bonuses like the new dance emotes, Factions character items, and Kuunavang Mini-pet, all news received well in advance (cept about the CE shortage of course).

So... Nightfall CE? Or is the Pre-Release the only purchasable packet with in-game bonuses of any sort? If that is the case, WHAT A GIMMICK!! Just another way for em to create a stand-alone purchase, meaning you are now paying a 10$ to 20$ increase compared to the past CE chapters for in-game bonuses?!

Anyone have a clue? I have ravaged the 4 different forums looking for clues, but to no avail. hmm, well if the CE doesnt have any in-game bonus, i'll be getting the prerelease pack with the regular game. woot!

Actually, a bad "gimmick" for Anet, because they'll lose money.

(People will find the cheapest Pre-release packs ($5?), and skip the CE.)

This is why I believe the CE will have in-game features of some sort.

why bother looking for clues when the only official information comes from www.guildwars.com and nowhere else?

Neither Prophecies CE nor Factions CE had in game items. The emotes and the mini pet were it. (though the mini pet was not part of the deal untill after the game shipped due to the delay). The only items were available through the preorder package, not the CE.

Well, because info also comes from interviews from game designers, marketing people, and devs like Gaile, etc etc...

Wow, i completely forgot. You are correct. The previous chapter CE editions came with emotes as the only in-game bonus, along with the mini-pet with factions for delayed CE orders. The bonus in-game items came from the Factions preorder, rather then the CE itself. Don't know why i forgot. Well, in THAT case, do we get any kewl emote? I would say if i cant get a global emote (applicable to all linked accounts/characters) then i'd stick with regular + preorder packet. I had gotten the Factions CE, and the emote was kewl and all, but without any other in game addition (cept the surprise mini pet) there is no big woop. Again, all the sketch art, Making Of: DvD, Mini Stand-In is just silly to pay 20-30$ more for... ill wait. If the in-game bonus is like REAL exclusive and/or useful then CE will not enter my house again! LoL Ty again for reminding me of the real details. haha. bleh.

It's funny people complaining about the CE.

Look, it's for collectors, people who just want a little extra. People who like the art book, music CD, skill pins, mini-standees, etc.

If you're paying $20 more just for some dances, I feel sorry for you...

It's not just about the Dances, it's about the whole package! Not that I mind my orginal CE emotes... I think they look cool. I passed on Factions, because I wasn't making a Ritualist or Assassin anyway, and it just didn't have enough extra stuff to warrant the extra money. Plus, I was short on cash at the time...

Now, a Mini-Kuunivang, that's worth $20!

No information has been released by arena.net reguarding the existance/denouncing the existance of any preorder items or special dances. Therefore it is too early to say if its a good time to worry
