I'm fairly new to the Ranger profession, but I think it's one of the most versatile characters in Guild Wars.

That having said, please critique my build.

Attributes:

9+3 Wilderniss Survival
12+1+1 Markmanship
9+1 Expertise

Skills:

Savage Shot
Penetrating Attack
Punishing Shot (E)
Kindle Arrows
Storm Chaser
Troll Unguent
Mend Ailment
Rebirth

I'm having quite a bit of fun with this build, can do a nice dmg 'spike' aswell.
(Kindle Arrows, Savage Shot, Punishing Shot, Penetrating Attack).

So yeah, please leave your thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

Like I said when I gave it to you Belven, the build is pwn sauce. As it's mine, I'll let others tell you what they think as well without going back through what I explained about it earlier. ;-)

Bar Mend Ailment this build is identical to my old one (pre factions). I used Distracting Shot.

You need to sort your attributes out... 15 Marksmanship (11 + 1 + 3) 12 Wilderness Survival (11 + 1) and 9 Expertise (8 + 1) is the best combination.

ya, there is no change in 5e and 10e skills at 10 Expertise from 9, so use that point elsewhere. Theres and Expertise breakpoint chart around here somewheres.

I'm more of an E conservitive so I run with 12 expertise, 15 marks and whatever is left over in WS

Then I use Whirling Defense over Storm Chaser.

If I get caught up in heavy fire, I can get out easier.
(It's more like a backup skill).
