55 Monk Question please help

So i'm trying to make my monk a 55 monk, but i only have Factions, i was wondering if there is a substitute spell for Balthazar's Spirit, or Essence Bond? Any energy gain spell would work, but so far I've been unable to find one.

Nope, both Balthazar's Spirit and Essence Bond are Prophecies only skill.
If you want them then you have to buy Prophecies

so there are absolutely no energy management spells in factions?

Not like those, sorry.

Did you already get the -50 health cesta?

Im on my 3rd or so character in guildwars... have factions as well as prophecies... I just recently started a monk... got the +60 armor in ascalon, not that it matters much, cept in help staying alive. I also got that Grim Cesta that lowers your health -50. But Im a level 10 right now... I have a superior rune of healing that I farmed, but I have not inserted it into my armor yet... Not sure I want to lower my health much just yet... But I need to know how I should go about this. Ive done some quests...cities of ascalon, and others, and Ive completed the as far as runes of surmia mission.....
I guess my questions is this.. Is it important that I start lowering my health this early in the game ??? Or should I wait till I am further along?? Im mostly a healer right now when doing missions, and I can easily change my attribs and skills when I decide to farm abit... which ive already done.
I have a nice gold holy rod right now, worth like 480 gold at the merchant..
But just wondering if there is anything else I need to start doing right now to get to my 55hp monk.... Thanks in advance

You need to collect the skills first and have the attributes to use them so a 55er is pretty much an end-game build, max attributes, elite skills, proper gear. Until then just play thru normally being a healer or whatever. The areas you want to farm are all end-game as well.

is there really a point for a 55 in factions? i mean not a lot of guys are just warriors in it...besides, how are you going to get Shield of Judgement? but ya you NEED the original game to unlock those skills, thats why they're locking in PvP too
