Its just a storm bow and eternal bow. I think "tripping over their feet "to buy them is an overstatement. But yes theres are some of the best purples I've seen lately. Maybe you can find someone who has a fetish for purple and sell sell sell. :]

That's so true. I had a purple Shadowblade once (Req. 9 and 14^50), and I couldn't even sell it for 2k.

I got a 14^50 req9 Serpent Axe. it was purple obviously the thing is i wouldt of got it so good if it hadnt updated the purples thing because i got it from a FoW reward chest thingy, which are always purple.

I've been using purple weapons since before Anet buffed up their stats, mainly because they were cheaper. Why spend 50k+ for a +1% increase in possible damage, when the fuzzy math in game ignores it anyway? Cheap yes, but it's not like gold weapons give off a golden glow or anything. The only way people will know it's gold is if I show them.

I personally really like these purps, even more than golds. Every time I get a purp drop with max dmg and low req I hope for 14^50. And to be honest, I'd rather like to own a 14^50 req 8 chaos axe that is purp, than a "rare" (LOL!) 15^50 req 8 one. Because the purp one is rarer...
BTW: How much is a purple fellblade/chaos req.x 14^50 worth? If anyone has these contact me ingame cause I want to have one of these. I'd take a req.x 14^50 purp long sword as well. Enlighten me about the value of these items please.
