Im a NP?

Hi All

Im a New Player to this game. ive never played MMORPG before, but a veteran of RPG.

I have found it very difficult to get use to the terminology used by other players while online. What on earth is 'ab', 'farming', 'gvg' etc etc etc.

Where can I find answers to these terms?

farming: killing crap to make money

I think people just make things up as they go a lot, but there's quite a few common ones that you can find on wiki. The other night I was at the end game mission and people were spamming

Indeed, that's why I never go to Imperial Sanctum; drives you insane!

Dunno.. there are many.. its easy to learn.

They are also quite often acronyms for skills and builds:

IWAY = warrior skill I Will Avenge You
MM = necromancer minion mancer (raises undead allies)
BP = ranger with Barrage and Pet

and on endlessly. It takes time to figure them out and more pop up all the time. Add to that 1337 ("leet") speak and it gets even worse.

GLF hot chicks - group looking for hot chicks

AoD = Aura of Displacement.. brb = be right back.

LFG = Looking for group... WTB = Want to buy... WTS = Want to sell... WTT = Want to trade... GvG = Guild vs. Guild... PvP = Player vs. Player... FF = Faction farming (usually done in ABs = Alliance Battles.)... 15^50 = weapon does 15% more damage when your health is over 50%... MM = Minion Master... Nuker = Elementalist that causes massive damage... Aggro = getting close enough to enemies to cause them to attack... XP = experience points... FTW = For the Win... FTW = For the loss... WTF = Huh?
