i heard that if you go to fow and don't open the chests till u have them all then open them you will get a garenteed gold (the non key chests) has anyone else heard about this????

No. It's beyond superstition, it's a completely false, and stupid, idea that some idiot decided to perpetuate. Those chests always drop purple items. They will not drop gold because they can drop dwarven axes and crystalline swords, gold version only drop in the HoH chest.
