It's okay if it's totally unrealistic or out of line. Just post, yours, for fun:-D
I would like to see HDR, the technology they implanted in HL2:Episode 1 and Lost Coast. That looked so sweet.....
and perhaps have a deep character creation system like this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_hZEKmdcj0
unrealistic, and never gonna happen, but so what:-D? lets see your take, on other games good ideas that could be really cool for GW!!!

just like good dancers ( hip hopers, break dancers) you look at what the other guy has and make it better.
Any way I think all anet needs to do is resech at other rpgies, pen and paper. They would find alot stuff in there to improve this game.
I also say add house and ships to the game
homes something like sims that in self will bring in a ton of people

I'd like to see mounts added to GW and lances. Ideas for mounts: Wyverns, Warhorse, Phoenix, Wolf, etc... I would also like to see a war server where the you choose luxon or kurzick but instead of 8-12 people, the teams should be 60 people (5 teams of 12). Just thinking about that scares me... total chaos.

I'll move this to the correct forum.
Regarding the Op, I'd like to see more player customisation (Hair stylists, tatooists ect, which are in multiple games including fable) and "letter sending". Letter sending would be, where you buy a scroll of parchment(Yet, another gold sink) use a vial of ink(again) on it and be able to write a letter, and send it via a messenger or something. It would also be cool to be able to send gifts with them messages, price according to size.
I took them ideas from another thread, but I like them alot so i'm spreading the news

Well, GW doesn't (and I would argue shouldn't) have too complex a character creation screen as it's more of an action game than an immersive RPG. That said, I would love if GW had more interesting spell animations like in Oblivion or the NWN2 preview videos.
But that is for campaign 4 and beyond. Right now the devs should give threads like these low priority and just get Nightfall up to a gleaming polish.

And I nod to Gr3g, as spell animations need more work. The only decent spell animations are inferno, metior shower and shield of deflection, along with a low ammount of others.
Fireball could be improved by maybe, for example, altering the cast system, where instead of summoning the fireball with the freaky hands action, you could possibly have it so the hands are together, and a fireball getting bigger within the hands, then finally pushing away the fireball.
So, yes to alterations to the casting spell animations and spell effect animations.

a fatigue system (Metal Gear Solid 3)
a food system (MGS3)
a wound/medical system (MGS3)
learning new skills through skill evolution (use one skill enough and you learn a skill that is an offshoot of that skill) (from Saga Frontier 2)
Multi-person combo skills (Like X-Slash, Falcon Hit, Arc Impulse etc from Chrono Trigger)

But not like SF2. SF1 did it so much better (simplicity is the way to go).
