Let me begin this thread with a little story...

When I was playing my first character, my ranger, I had no guild. T'was all solo or PUGs. That was fine until the Maguuma Jungle, when PUGs became increasingly incompetent. But one day, I had enough of it, and strictly taught everybody how to run the crystals to unlock the Henge Portal. I know that I have taught 5 others how to do the mission properly, which means 5 others will not be paired with noobs. My warrior did a similar thing, and now I intend to help the people of Guru by helping them with this mission.

My E/Me (geomancer) needs to get through this mission, and I know many others are stuck at this mission. I am hosting an event in which we will be doing Aurora Glade several times in the day so that peoples' weaker characters can get past a rather tricky mission, whilst others can learn the portal running tactic - a tactic that is perhaps the only one that gives you an assured victory without having to fight the Mantle. So, without further adieu, I will tell you the details of this event.

Who: I will be doing Aurora Glade with my geomancer who requires it (Ethalsar Stonefury), and after beating it, I will bring in my awesome lvl 20 warrior to speed up later runs.

What: We will be doing the mission (just the mission) of Aurora Glade a couple times to help some Guru members get their lesser characters through it. Maybe later on we will attempt the bonus, but we won't do both in the same run.

When: *Tuesday, September 12, 5:00PM EDT (which is GMT -5:00)

Where: Aurora Glade, International 1

Why: You should have read the itallics, foo!

So, if interested, list what character(s) (including their profession) you need to beat Aurora Glade on, and which ones (if any) who have beaten it but wish to volunteer to help others with it. Also tell me if you are interested in doing the bonus later on (I am - I've only beaten it on my ranger), and if the above time seems legitimate for you. Looking forward to seeing some people there!

*I am aware that it will be a school night, though many people have massive GW plans for the weekend already. As Aurora is a 6-person mission, I don't expect a million people. At most, we will have two groups doing the mission simultaneously. 5PM EDT is between dinnertimes (some people, including me, have dinner early like at 4:30PM). For others in the US, time will range from after school to 5PM EDT. Still, I'm sure some of you will be able to attend. If it really becomes apparent that nobody will be able to come, we will re-schedule.
