Forgive me if a similar thread has been posted, I'm new to the forum.
I have a Sapphire Radeon 9600xt 256mb card running on Windows XP SP2 with Athlon 2000+XP processor and 1gb ram
When I play Guild Wars the graphics become corrupt, with flashing lines and odd looking polygons popping up all over the place! (see pic). If I refresh the screen by minimizing and then restoring the game the bugs will dissappear for a short time.
I have updated motherboard drivers, downloaded Catalyst 6.4 drivers (my system doesn't seem to like later versions but that's a different story!) and checked that the card isn't overheating (it is running at approx 50 degrees according to catalyst control centre).
I'm hoping the card hasn't reached the end of its life but seems a dinstinct possibility to me! Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!

I had the same problem with the same model graphics card, only worse. That problem is usually idicative of memory modules going bad. The only way to fix the problem is to buy a new graphics card because the memory modules are soldered straight to the board.

I thought as much, shame as it's only a year or so old.
Ah well, looks like it's a new card for me then! Thanks for the reply :-)
