Add an explore button...

for the Jade Quarry, since I have tried for a week solid, every day, and have yet to see 8 people there. My chance of ever getting this thing mapped is about 0.1% at this rate.

While it's neat that there are areas like this, it would be nice if those planning to map it weren't
a) destined to torpedo their team by their presence
b) had a way to access it without needing to have others around to enter, on both sides

So stick enemies in it and make it explorable? Most mission areas are also explorables, this could be too (and Aspenwood while we're at it...)

I guess if people really need it, no reason not to. Personally I prefer to get the Protector title from each of my characters' homelands

My necro is missing areas from both of these missions; and jade seems to be the bloody plague because noone ever touches it.

for one thing factions is easier to explore unlike prophecies since you have exploreable versions of the missions and this would further improve it.

Agreed whole-heartedly. Only reason I have grandmaster cartographer of Cantha on my warrior is because of the Dragon Festival. Wish I had have made my ranger sooner, because I feel he missed his only real opportunity at the title by missing the double faction weekend.

Doesn't make sense for a ranger to not have dual grandmaster cartographer... I mean, that's what rangers do.

Forgive my ignorance if this isn't feasible, but couldn't you populate both sides of the match with guildmates or alliance members? If it only takes 16 people to get the game started so you can map, I volunteer to assist if it would work.

I'm not sure of the mechanics of that particular mission area, so forgive me if it's not possible.

That's a very good idea. Or maybe just make them not count toward the explorer title. One way or the other, something needs to be done.

It is random, but it is also possible. If you have a large alliance or guild to get enough people on both sides to wait. They can't sync it up, but once the computer finds enough people it will pair you up.

The other hard part of this for mappers is trying to actually map and keep the enemy side from attacking you. There doesn't seem to be a way to communicate with the enemy through the all chat.

I had to resort to basically going armorless with no weapon in hand to make the other side understand that I wasn't going for kills but just to unlock.

It is very unfair to your teammates if you "leech" to just get map and not participate.

It took me nearly a week of checking every once in a while to find that rare instance where the stars aligned to be able to get there.

It's too bad no guild has come up on the way to exploit this for money by setting up in Jade quarry on both sides and charging someone a fee to do a coordinated entry to allow mappers. Or even someone doing it just to be able to help others with no monetary rewars since it is ripe with potential for scamming.
