WTB Hornbow + mods for a special friend's birthday..

Alright, so my friend's birthday is coming up and I want to get her something for her survivor ranger. She mentioned a hornbow with vamp and fortitude mods..

Hornbow
req7-9(maybe 10)
15^50
Vamp 5/-1 Check.
Fortitude 25-30 Check.

EDIT: A guildmate is getting the materials for the hornbow as it can only be obtained in Factions via collector.

depends on the require, mods, and type of hornbow. mursaat skinned hornbows go for much more than the flesh and serpent types. serpent/dragon head types are the cheapest of the 3.

a req 8-9 mursaat hornbow 15^50 can get up in the 200-500k range (i dont think max dmg 15^50 req 7's exist)

for a flesh hornbow, i believe they can get from 100-200k

and for serpent head hornow, probably 50-100k (lower ranges based on req 9, higher based on req 8's)


the one piece of advice i wanted to give though was not to put a vampiric string on it. i'm a HUGE advocate for vamp mods on everything BUT hornbows. IMHO, because they have by far the slowest refire rate of all bows at every 2.7 seconds (compared to 2.4 and 2.0 of other bow types). might not seem like much of a difference, lol, but it really is. :-P personally, i have vampiric mods on all my bows except my hornbows. i simply have sundering on them, which is kinda nice with some "extra" sundering dmg, since hornbows already have 10% armor penetration.

and if anyone says anything about using Tigers Fury, lol, yes, i STAY on Tigers Fury to pump up my DPS on all my bows, but it still doesnt make vampiric strings on hornbows worth it to me.

already been stated several places that sundering does not stack so on a hornbow

sundering = waste of a mod....

which imo it almost always it
