When Nightfall comes out are you gonna use an exsisting character or are you gonna make a new one? I really wanna make a paragon but dont wanan run into the problems I had wiht Factions where areas were flooded with Assasins and Ritualists
unholy guardian
thing is the paragon and dervish appear to be much stronger and self sustained. I am either making a paragon or dervish to start, i might just go with the dervish to start before it gets super nerfed in the championships lol
Pepsi Jedi
Going to make a Dervish/Ranger.
Loviatar
i will check out the dances then decide

Horseman Of War
well Ill definately bring over all my characters, whether I use them or not (still havent touched Factions with one of my characters at all)
But as far as actual gameplay/adventuring/etc goes, I will definately make some new characters... Im going to make a dervish/?, a Paragon/Warrior, and a Ranger/?
so maybe ill start with paragon since its the only concrete idea i have for it atm.
This will give the people who DO use their old characters first a chance to post their armor pics on guildwiki n such... Im not gonna be the first to try them lol.

Paragon/Warrior = FTW
Dervish/? you know I have not decided yet, I figure I won't be able to choose Assassin as secondary however I think I will go for Dervish/Sin as soon as I can, mostly for shadow skills.
3 Paragons and 1 Dervish sounds like a fair team to me. Even 4 Paragons and 2 Dervish sounds fair. Heck I can go for 5 Paragons and 3 Dervish.

Dervish FTW!
SaucE
I will be putting 1 or 2 existing characters through first.

To start, I'll probably play one of my existing ones, or create a core class I haven't played much yet. When Factions came out, I went through it with my necro and monk, then created a mesmer. By the time I created my ritualist, things had chilled out and balanced more. So, that might be what I do, too.
... unless I can create a paragon or dervish that's just way too sexy for me to resist. But chances are, it'll be my monk running around because everyone needs monks that don't suck.

I'm Definitly Going For Dervish.
Why? they look cool, and the morphing Skills look Awsome, definitly the New running Class (D/R or D/W) (Or Vice versa)
Not to mention With the new Skills and such there si sure to be more "incinci" builds that does not require 55 hp.

No noncore for me. To me, Noncore is for PvP...since you are at a severe PvE disadvantage (skillunlocks wise).

Well, what I did with Factions was to make a Factions character (incidentally, of a core class) and played it until the point at which the Prophecies characters appeared for the story. Then I moved my Prophecies characters over to go for 15K Canthan armour. (Ironically, my first Factions character was, out of my level 20s, my last character to kill Shiro, including my second Canthan character...)
I'm currently out of core classes for new characters, so I'll probably make a new class (inclined towards Dervish first at present) and do the same as with Factions, or go all the way with the starting character if there aren't any armours I want with my existing characters.

Well after I use my Ele through the game...I'm definitely gonna try Dervish, I never played a melee character before, so this should be new. I might want to try paragon too, simply cause their armor looks nice lol i havent tried either professions during the event so lol
007 Error
I'm going to start by playing through the campaign with my beloved monk (don't think I need to list the advantages ) and then make either a P or D (haven't decided which yet).
icedragon981
Well, I'm gonna make a paragon to start off with in Elona (not sure on his secondary yet....) and hench a lot with the new customizable heros then I'll bring over my other 4 PvE characters.
Wabbajack
Going for a Dervish/Monk or Rit if that's possible.
KoalaMeatPie
I'm thinking that you'd have to play untill you get to the place where you can switch your chracters from Chapter to Chapter then sue a Skill Changer for D/Rt

I'll probably start with my Warrior, but then switch to Dervish or Paragon at some point. You know, shake it up a bit.
they call me joker
um i don't know...i'm definitely going to try out paragon and dervish...that's what theyr'e there for! lol but the question is wether or not i'm going to stay as one of them or go back to factions classes
Shadowfrost
Lol, i'm laughed at by my brothers because I've deleted so many characters 'because their hair doesn't look cool from the back, just from the front', or 'their skin just isn't the right shade', or 'eh, that single animation (such as male mesmer twirling in the air/male ele using flare) sucks, I'm gonna make a new character'. I've done that so many times that in the like, 5 months that I've played i must've made at least 100 characters.
I'm defiantly going D/Mo and having maxed misticysm (or whatever it is) spamming Reversal Of Fortune, though it'll probably be nerfed.

AlienFromBeyond
I'll probably be making a Dervish and compare it to my Warrior. If the current skills we know are any indication, then I think Dervish primary would be an awesome farmer, or even tank.
Dfx Gladiator
I will defenitly take my monk to elona. There will be so many hurted Dervishes and Paragons asking for a medic...
But as soon as I know how the things works, probably I'll create one of the two new professions.

The only Core class ive yet to make is a mesmer....I tried it and couldnt get into it. I may try it again with Nightfall...dunno yet.
