I've seen my FG run wayyyyyyyyy outside aggro range, attack a mob and lead them back to me.
I've seen my FG get stuck on objects, walls, even stuck in the middle of the open floor.
I've seen my FG run up to someone, stop, change his mind, turn, run to someone else, stop, run back to the first guy, stop and finally decide to attack. I've never seen this behavior. What usually happens is I target something, hit spacebar, and my minions rush in. They keep fighting anything inside their aggro bubble until everything's dead.

I agree with the golem running back and forth to different targets and not even attacking. One reason why i love Fiends is that since they use projectiles they really dont need to run down anyone and attack. it especially helps when changing targets, there isnt that 1-2 seconds of no damage being delt why the melee minions run to the target.

I'll put in another vote for AotL: Contemplation of Purity! Aura heals you a pretty big chunk when it ends, and you get to lose a hex and a condition. Good in Factions if you get hit by Dazed, or wherever if you get Backfire or something put on you.

And they only made Dazed more viable with the buff to Temple Strike and Broadhead Arrow. Annoying condition... >.<

I think I've gotten the hang preventing the FG from getting stuck. The reason it gets stuck is when u target something and just stand there. Your fiends will also stop and start attacking. Due to some lousy pathfinding, the FG tries to go straight through where the clump, and gets stuck. What I do is target or cast a spell, then strafe a bit before retargeting. This gets the FG to retarget as well.
As to the running around, well, same thing with vamps too. I actually like the running around cos sometimes the FG will target what you're targetting, especially good when running wif hench. Takes down something faster, as opposed to the fiends targeting what they deem the weakest.
The best thing I love about FG is the reusable corpse.
As for AotL, tried it, but didn't like it. A bit more situational that other elites, due to the vulnerability to life steal and degen. Necro and mesmer mobs are a big no-no.

But on the other side... Fiends are too stupid to move so they don't all get annihilated by multi-target spells/AoE (Jade Brotherhood anyone?) and also don't seem to understand what walls are.
