Glad. Title

looking through the different titles on guild wiki i stumbled at the gladiator title...i dont understand it and hope you can help me...

Wiki says:

Gladiator title track

These titles are granted to an account with a number of streaks of consecutive wins in the Random and Team Arenas. Each streak of 10 consecutive wins gains one point for this track (That is, 1 track point is awarded at 10, 20, 30, an so forth).

Gladiator 25
Fierce Gladiator 50
Mighty Gladiator 100
Deadly Gladiator 168
Terrifying Gladiator 280
Conquering Gladiator 466
Subjugating Gladiator 755

Notes: These titles are not retroactive; that is, the streaks must have been won after the release of Guild Wars Factions.

ok...so to glad title... do i need to win 25 consecutive matches...or as wiki states i get 1 glad point every 10 wins...so to get glad title do i need 10*25=250 consecutive wins??

You win 10 consecutive games, you get 1 glad point. You get 25 glad points, you get the title. The winning streaks don't have to be consecutive.

OK..so thats 250 consecutive wins total... :s

So i could win 2 consecutive games...do some pve then come back for more til i get up tp 10...

Cant people really abuse this and if they are about to die/lose map out of it?

Just because you used the word consecutive in that sentence doesn't make what your saying relevant at all. It's TEN consecutive, not two and then some more, that's not what consecutive means is it?

You win ten in a row in the same session - ever see that little green caption that comes up when you win? Do that and you have one point towards the title. Do that whole thing 25 times over and you got the title.

My Countless of 9th , 10th always face something like freaking TA, Boon prot , Mesmer , Elie , War , look to me like Perfect balance build oh well ...

Yeah I've noticed that, seems the tenth game is always matched against a team on a similar streak of wins. Oh well atleast thats *one* thing to stop scrubs getting the title.

hmmm so i need to win 10 games in a row 25 times.... thats alot of playin time

well, the titles arent really for people to just get easy, you either need to work hard and earn them or just happen to love ra/ta and play all the time there anyways or both. trust me, its no harder than capping all 180 elites in both chapters.

edit: 755? holy! ok well may not be 'harder' but dang thats a lot of ra/ta, then again 180 elites is only advanced... I'll have to buy at least one more chapter to get them all.

omg the top tier is 755??

*faint* Man I love playing in RA/TA and I'm only up by 42 points... the highest i've seen was someone with tier 3, but that's it.

I better start learning how to play a monk properly...
