Better in game comms in nightfall?

Does anyone know if Nightfall is going to have some sort of BBS for guild members to post messages for each other? At the moment the "guild announcements" page (imo) is woefully inadequate. It would be nice to have something a little more versatile. Thoughts?

Damn good idea. It'd really improve communication in big multinational guilds like mine D: (-coff-)

but it kind of died after the nay sayers kept saying to just setup a seperate website or use guild chat. Feel free to bring it back up if you like.

Think I just might. Frankly speaking, for a game that owes much of its popularity to player interaction, youd think this is something they would focus on rather that some spiffy "water effect". Guild chat is fine when peopel r online but what happens if say a player wanted to contact a fellow guild member who isnt online at the time. Using a site "outside" of the game sort of breaks away from the experience wouldnt you say?

Yeah theres nothing stopping you from using a real live internet forum. Anything in game would probably be sub par compared to just setting up something at http://invisionfree.com/ or any other free forum provider.

I don't dissagree. My origional suggestion was just for posting notes, not for having long conversations or debating builds, etc. In such a case, it would not need to be on par with a full fledged forum.

I'd actually be happy if you could use links in the announcement. People are just too damn lazy to type it out in the browser or c&p from the guild window. But yeah I've always felt the announcement thing was pretty limited.
