Is it normal for your mini pet to get lost?

So just now I was doing Market Mayhem and my little whiptail didn't rez with me at the shrine.... Now I didn't notice that this had happened till I got near the spot where I died and he came running at me o_O;;; I thought I recalled when I died back when I got my dragon for the collectors edition that he rezed with me... Glitch?

when you rez at the shrine, its like your character just entered the zone and you just double click on the mini pet again to bring it out... Its not lost.

Awwww, the poor thing musta been terrified...you were lying there while it licked your face then *poof* you were gone...poor thing!

I haven't noticed that, will hafta keep an eye out for it. They do lag behind when travelling a while without stopping, but of course even the henchies will do that.

Yes, it is true for me aswell i have a dragon and it rezes with me but none of my others dont i dont understand it

I dont mean lost as in lost forever, he came running like my rangers pet used to do before he started rezzing with me. And I know I could have put him back and brought him back out but like I said my dragon doesn't get lost so it never occurred to me that my whiptail would o_O

Of course my husband is laughing at me and telling me I am nuts... And I might be with this head cold but the post above me says I'm not so =P

Same thing with cutscenes it seems. The minipets stay where you were when the cutscene started and then come running to your new location, if they can find the way.
Funny sight that when there's multiple players having minipets out and the army rushes towards you.

It is the same way when you are rezed and you have 1 hench that did not die. While you are running back to your death spot the hench is running back to you. Since your mini pet does not die it has to find its way back.
Make sure you tell it everything is ok and you did not mean to leave it all alone with the scary monsters.

They fixed that by the way.
