More options in Player creation for combine account

Hi all Guildwars fans,

Character creation play in biggest part of MMORPG. It to define who & what our character are. Moreover, we like to be unique & different from anyone.
As for now, we have limited amount of option in creating a characters.

Therefore, It would be great if PLAYNC give more benefits for those who combine their Guildwars' Account into one, which allow to unlock more options to choose in creating individual character in Guildwars.

I dont really expect to resize every single part of the body of a character, but having more options of faces,hairs,skin colors from all previous campaign for FACTION & upcoming campaign NIGHTFALL (if we combined the account) could be a starting point.

This idea come to me as i playing another PlayNC game;
City of Heroes(CoH) & City of Villians(CoV)
When i combined the CoH with CoV, it allows me to create a Hero character with some options from Villian.

Overall, it benefits all of us & PlayNC too.
Please share all your suggestions, and hoping PlayNC would take this as consideration for future campaign or even NIGHTFALL.

merging accounts has been suggested many many many times; Anet has already said they have no intention of ever allowing people to merge acounts.


p.s. "merging" CoH/CoV really isn't the same thing
and WoW allows you to merge accounts for a fee and transfer
characters between severs.

Edit* lol, now I see what you're saying. But being native to a certain continent gives you access to only certain physical features so you truely look native. Giving access to all the physical features from all the campaigns on your account would just ruin expansions.

considering the amount of travelers you could expect to see chapter 1 faces being *born* in chapter 2/3/x and that would give much more choice in face/hair/etc.

even better would be a bunch of *mixed race, exotic* face/hair/etc to add to the mix

that if you want character customization.. no wait scratch that... if you want something improved you should go play wow/coh/eve/whatever...

but its not gonna happen. just let it go and fade it away... big updates and engine, game and system overhauls are not part of this game. cant really complain since there is no fee, tho.

The only possibility for mixed races is if they add expansions to the current chapters.

This doesn't benefit PlayNC, you're effectively asking for a free update, where they will have to do all the work. Unlike CoH and CoV, which have a monthy subscription...

I think is it somewhat a good suggestion...

For the appearence like skin color and hair style, it should be contain within each chapter. So a Canthra character would have more of an asian look, as that character are "born" there. Therefore, it might be a bit strange to have Tyrian born character with asian face. But overall, it could still work.

But I think what would be better is to do what everyone is been asking... which is a Stylist, with the hair style / skin color offer to only those with the expansion pack. So a Tyrian character that want a Canthra haircut must also have that chapcter (need to talk to a Stylist there).

I guess some people get a wrong idea in what i'm trying to suggest.

U will see more & more tyrians & Faction character running around in NIghtfall anyway if people combined their account. So what the differences Thats why the "unlocked" option when combining the account for. If u dont combined it, u dont get the option of faces, hair, etc form other campaign. Of course some could be modified. maybe not the face, but more options for hair and other stuff. Cuz it seems that Faction has less options in character creation than Prophecies.

I tried many games & i still like Guild Wars as the gamplay & graphic wise. However, talking about month monthly fees, its no different if PlayNC keep on pop up a new campaign less than a year for $50/game. its more expensive than $15/month.

I didnt say this & that games is better, i just thinking making GW game to be a greater game than before. Thats all

No one ever said that if you buy all the expansions GW would still be cheaper than a pay for play game. But no one forces you to buy any expansions and it's still true that there is no monthly subscription.
