This one is from the character creation screen. She seems to have a bit of a five o'clock shadow. But it doesn't show up so much ingame. Can't say as I've noticed more make-up as I chose the uber-slutty ele face anyway. So she had it caked on already.

This is ingame. She has a fairly prominent black line at either side of her mouth that makes her look like she's smirking. Don't really mind so much. Earlier in the day she looked like she had black fangs..
She seems to have developed my habit of blinking when being photographed as well...

Not earth shattering...
But my lovely necro seems to have developed an orange rash on her... assets. I get the impression they're meant to be veins.

Sorry, thought i had a better shot of 'those'. I had to brighten it up slightly. Kaineng Center is really dark. She seems to have a bit of bleached moustache as well. Poor girl.
On the whole though, over four toons I'd say they're pretty much ok. Better in some ways.
ok its not the best pic but its all i could come up with so far:
pic to the left is the old one, the one to the right is the new one, this was concerning the bigger hair buns in the update, its really nice to see that gaile is posting in here and it gives me confidence that they will restore our chars to their old looks, but yeah this is really bugging me because its not the monk i've played for the past 10 months and im really attached to this char :\

What upsets... no, PISSES ME OFF, is the fact Anet did all these changes to faces and hair, and I STILL have my bald spot (see here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...4#post1939894). I was just about to email support when this update came up. I was hoping that with ALL THOSE CHANGES, the problem would be fixed. But... nothing.
Rather than beat the holy living crap out of my monitor with my keyboard, I seethed for an hour or so, no longer in the mood to play GW due to dissapointment and frustration that this 9-month old issue hadn't finally been fixed. It CAN'T be that hard of a fix!
Now, with all this ruckus going on, I figure now is the best time to be heard, as I'm sure Ms. Gray is working on all these complaints and such.
*takes a DEEEEP breath*
Gaile, could you please, PLEASE help me!? Please, when the faces and such are fixed, in that same update, could you try and get this stupid, STUPID glitch fixed? It would mean A LOT to me! I'm totally serious when I say that I would be eternally grateful to you and everyone else involved. I'm sure many others would be overjoyed as well, because this seems to be a problem regardless of graphics settings and hardware, and I can't be the only one. PLEASE, Gaile, I'm PLEADING with you to do this for me and all the other Warriors who must have this problem!
*phew!*
I believe this is an issue with at least one other warrior hairstyle, in this case for a female warrior, the one with the leather headband and the short hair parted in the center. This one is much less pronounced and only apparent when zoomed out, but still, I know from posting about this issue before that at the very least, one player is upset by it.
I've never heard about this for any other profession, so I imagine it must be cased by either the placement of warriors' hair (too far forward?) or by the shape of their heads. But that's just a guess.
As for my Warrior himself, his face is... well... it looks more real, there are some slight wrinkles and creases, he does not have the complexion of a 10 year-old like most GW faces seem to have. I like that. I don't want characters who look like models. At the same time... he looks like either he hasn't slept in a day or three, or he's wearing eye makeup...
I'm not terribly pleased with that part, it's unattractive either way, although if I got a drunkard title it would be slightly more fitting, I suppose.Anyway, I hope everyone's facial/hair issues are fixed, including ones that weren't affected by the update

honestly most of the proph ele faces really sucked ass before, they were all pale and ugly nothin was defined.
obviously theres little bugs with the changes with eles and all others, but still eles got way better changes over all.

I haven't taken off his mask since pre-searing, except one time when getting a new one, and that was only for a few seconds. Oh, it's an imposing mask... the badass Jack of Blades type (kudos to you if you know who that is).

Ive had a warrior with this same hair and nothing has been changed regarding to the bald dot on his head, and he has existed since I first bought guild wars Prophecies, that was 15 months ago.
This only happens when the character is running, each step it gives, the bald spot rises to torment us.
Here:
Anet, fix this....
NOW!!!

Just to remind: The artists are monitoring reports in this thread and they will no doubt do what they can about various issues outside of the one involving the changes to faces, but there are no promises that they can correct each and every side issue in the same timeframe. I know they'll take a look at other things, too, as time allows.

A bald dot pops over, instead of improving current faces that are glitch free, why not work on the ones that actually need fixing? Priority is the right name for this situation.
Anyway, I would apreciate it very much if this was fixed, which im sure will, and I do apreciate the fact that the artists are monitoring reports on this thread.
Keep up the good work.
And if this takes time to be fixed we can wait, after all ive been waiting for 15 months(when i made this character).
