Character selection screen. Let me choose which one

ANet changes our character selection screen to suit their advertising.

I'd like to be able to choose which screen my characters are put up on. Personally i like the campfire one the best, so why cant i choose that one.

Also with the charcter sorting screen, let us be able to choose which character stand where.

Yeah, what's up with that? They have the drop down menu to choose but then there's nothing to choose!

I need an option where I can sort my characters the way I want.
I do not want apha/pvp or none.

I want to sort them maunally.
If there is a way to click on the slot and drag it. This way I can stort by gender/favorite character etc...

ermm i think that some us maybe suffering from OCD,
is it really important to be able to sort your chars at the selection screen, when anet have other more pressing issues to deal with such as the guild vault and the auction house that the kinda promised us?, or maybe a reconnect feature?.

It would also be nice to be able to display your characters currently equipped weapon and offhand.

then again, I did get driven crazy by the words GUILD WARS FACTIONS everytime I opened guild wars, so finally bought the game lol.

I have wanted to be able to order my characters from oldest to youngest and I can't because I can never choose where they go. Also I like the idea of being able to change the background, I definately need a change once in awhile.

I loved the first title screen to bits the new one seem to arcadey to me they look as if im seleting a character for Street fighter what with the character in a box animation

With 6 characters, they had to do something like the current screen. With the old campfire menu, you'd have been hard-pressed to fit 6 chars in there, let alone 8 or more. Yes, the current one is kinda like Street Fighter, but the old one was like making a char in D2, so we'll call it even.

I think it would be cool if we could choose the background for the selection screen, and if we made modifcations, like have the currently highlighted char stand on a flat rock in the Prophecies one, instead of on the ground, it's certainly possible. I don't think it will happen, though, ANet is not likely to pass up free advertising every time you run the game.

Besides, the current one is gorgeous!
