I'm sure someone has mentioned this, BUT....

Why is forgetfullness not cared about all of a sudden? Getting tricked by a scammer was 'sorted'. Selling things on your weapons bar was solved. So why is simply been forgetful suddenly getting people whining that 'you should remember'.
Remembering 2 seconds after walking out the door you left your wallet is 1 thing, remembering 2 seconds after pressing 'delete' you left an item on your PvP char is another.

if you do it more than once it is blatent stupidity .....learn not to be in that big a hurry
you can take those 2 seconds to look at your character
Oh come on, what is the point in putting 'Not signed'? You're just sayin 'not signed' for no reason. Saying 'You shouldn't be so forgetful' is no reason not to implement the idea either. If you don't have any non-PvP items on your character, then you won't see the message, so why does it matter if its implemented or not.
as for 'Blatent stupidity... learn not to be in that big a hurry', most of the time there is no hurry, people just forget, For example, I made an IWAY warrior last week, I hadn't played it in a while, and forgot to give him a PvP bow so he could send his pet in. I went and checked storage and found a green staff in there (which was there because I was transferring it from a character I deleted to be used if I made a mesmer). That would work I thought, so I put it on him, and played a few rounds of HA. The next day, I came wanting to make a PvP Rit, and completely forgot about the staff (Due to the fact he was a warrior character, and I don't usually play warrior/Iway, or transfer items to PvP charas), so I deleted him and lost the staff. (Ok, so it wasn't a great one, but its still a loss)
Its a very simple idea, one that shouldn't be too hard to implement. I can see NO REASON WHATSOEVER why people /nosign this.

I wouldn't mind having a function where when PVP characters are deleted all money and non pvp items are put into storage as long as there is room. Not because I'm forgetful, but to save time. I'm smart and name my pvp chars with stuff on them names like "Do Not Delete Off Hand," well maybe not exactly that, but something to the point.
And besides you can roll +5 energy swords or bows now anyway.
