Bad lag and connection issues since update

anyone else gettng bad lag and connection issues since the new update??? not amused, never really suffered from lag before and i been playing for amost a year now and never had problems with gw before either .......... update 14th september and LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG??!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?! not impressed! any solutions or answers???

Everyone is experiencing random Err7's, there are ALWAYS problems after updates, get used to it, it's Anet's bad habbit

People being home from school or home from work (here in UK anyway) who play GW are probably all downloading the updates now. More traffic to the server thus lag.

Meh im also having problems ... I gotta load all the files again when im entering an outpost (Like 4,000 + ). Its even worse because Guildwars is downloading these file with an average speed of 30kb....

Wow! 30kb a second is a speed I dream of :P

Got the same problem.
I have a 10mb connection, and it`s just crawling.
I had probs conncecting,now I have over 4000, files to download to get to just one area, and at just 15kb , and 20kb, it will take forever.
I just dont know what arena net are playing at.
It is so damn slow.

I've got connection issues only with Vizunah Square so far.. can't load the map. The updates are downloading at a normal speed of ~100kb tho..

When i try to leave Lion's Arch i get an err7

The Lag and connection problems are from you streaming in all the updates while playing (lightning bolt in the corner).

do a -image on your gw.exe and download them all in 1 go and you'll be fine there.

not rly I waited for the bolt to go before logging in and still lag massively and randomly stop loading areas. I understand its a post patch thingie so no big deal.

Chances are the servers are being taxed to their limit due to the massive number of people downloading this massive update. Give it a few days for the majority of people to have downloaded and it should be back to normal (read: with the increased lag that started a few weeks ago)

These issues after all thime are getting tedious, come on ANET i understand there are issues from time to time but please................... this lag issue is starting to get out of control!
