There is a req10 max dmg +5 brute with over 100ecto bid in high end. If you do infact have this then puting it up for sale would be the only real way to determine what it might get, far as i know this is the only req8 max dmg +5 brute around..

Judging by the latest response to a req10 +5, I'd say 1-1.5mill... but as Oofus says, the only way to be sure is put it up for auction.

sell it fast, as I've heard several people say they have collected brutes in Factions areas, so it only makes sense they can drop gold, and I've seen more and more of these it seems.... if so prices will drop and I'm pretty sure there was one other req 8...
