Shiro and his possible "revenge" attempt

Because first and second guild wars storys link with Nighthfall story I want see some more Shiro in Chapter 3 and same time get some explanations.
1. What is Shiro's Guild.
2. More information about Shiro's past.
3. What is Shiro's reason to do what he do in Factions.
4. Why he desired to became human again when it putted he to disadvantage.

In response to #4 I think because of the darkness in the underworld Shiro may have had to make a choice between the lesser of the two evils. Stay an envoy and get his soul ripped apart by the invading darkness or become mortal again. Obviously he chose to be mortal again. I thought Shiro was a much cooler villain than the Lich in prophecies so I hope we havn't seen the last of him.
Horseman Of War
to err is human

Well, since we're going to a place called the Realm of Torment, I wouldn't be surprised....

#2 Shiro is Gwens twin Brother! :O

I dunno, he screwed up being an envoy, I can't see the other envoys being all nice and forgiving about this and giving 'poor' shiro another chance at causing a second disaster like he did in factions.
To me, I'm happy knowing he's somewhere I don't want to know about.

1. The name of Shiro's guild was never mentioned in the game. The only mention of it is at the end of Zen Daijun.
2. Why? Would you rather reuse an old character and make it feel weird for the Nightfall storyline and not have a brand new story?
3. You like to skip cinematics don't you?
4. This is a good question. Maybe he just wants to be alive again, wielding more power than he had before he died. Don't know about you, but having to shepherd the dead for all eternity sounds like a boring job...

It would be really funny if they bring Shiro and the Lich back while we fight the last boss for nightfall.
Quid Pro Quo
To me it seems like they are giving us an impression that all of these things are happening under the control of ONE person all at the same time, Netherborn.
Thats just how I see it though.. it seems too coincidental that all these horrible things could be happening at once just by chance.

Former Ruling
The stories are linked in a way like that Quid Pro Quo. So assuming that isnt too off the wall.
Remember the plague Shiro brought to Cantha is happening At the Same Time as the mishaps in Tyria.

True, the ONE source is.... Anet!
But seriously, I'm more inclined to believe that the whole reason why the stories seems to be linked is very simply because Anet just wants to come up with some storyline hooks for PvE characters to travel from one campaign to another.
Also, despite the preview event news for Nightfall, it didn't specifically say when the call for help came to Tyria, so we can't assume that the problems in Elona is happening at the same time as Tyria. Right? Unless I'm missing some news that already mentioned this.

it would be funnier if we had to help shiro- hes not a bad guy, just needs to lay off the rice wine and stop listening to that crazy oracle.

New characters please. Shiro... Lich... Been there, smote that. Time for the newest voice over that's going to grate on my nerves.

In any case, Jeff Strain says in the PC Gamer Nightfall article that this is "an endpoint", and will tie up some of the loose ends in Prophecy and Factions.
It also says in that article that Tyria and Cantha will see effects of the dark god as Nightfall grows closer to release (I'm assuming stuff like the Luxons and Kurzicks showing up in Kryta before Factions).

Screw Shiro. The Lich was much better... he had a distinctive and certainly villainous voice, where Shiro's was cliche'd. His motivations are much clearer than Shiro's... we can only guess the motivations of the latter (though it's a safe bet his final goal was simply to be alive and in a position of power again). He's also much, much, much harder to beat. Shiro's a wuss, who can only die one time.
Quite frankly, in my mind, Kuunavang is the endgame boss for Factions. Kuunavang is tough and nasty, even if she doesn't have as many flashy moves as Shiro. Defeating Shiro is just a glorified quest, and is analogous to the quests Glint gives you after defeating the Lich. To think of it any other way upsets me, because I feal cheated.

There are only 14 missions in Factions, and I can't even access two of them (the Elites).
Soldat
ya, ^, i wish the last mission would've been a tad longer. Mebbe they put bodyguards or at least sumtin to make it harder. Build up the suspension b4 the big fight.

Here is the possible connection (it has to be subtle connection to each story). First of all, do you notice the trends in the two campaigns; it comes in the form of these prophecy’s (great hero’s coming to slaughter the great evils). I feel your right this new evil in nightfall, has been “greasing the wheel’s” (manipulating destinies) so to speak. Look at the profit in factions, and notice how she singles out Shiro (a reprimands his destiny), you can tell that Shiro would not take his prophesied death too seriously (unless she was right about some major event). Now as for the Lynch, where did he find those transcripts that led to the Cataclysm of his former home of Orr. He found a forbidden spell that made him, think he was going to save everything but instead destroy it all. Also who would really give him a second chance at life, as a Lich? Finally what was the real reason for the Charr to attack, Tyria; did they know about the prophecies and their former so called gods ( the titans), or was it some out side source that influenced them?
As you can see its all about the “domino affect”, not really influencing the main evils as a whole but manipulating them, to do its bidding (with or without that evils knowledge of the puppet master).
