bosses dont drop weapons

Ok , my issue is that when I killed Steelhand he didnt drop his daggers, is there a reason for this? moral? party size?

Green items don't always drop, except in the case of Rotscale.

The Darknesses in Tombs also always drop atleast 1 green dont they? They always have for my groups.

Canthan bosses seem to be even greedier than Tyrian with their greens, unfortunately.

Thats just because their greens tend to actually be decent, and the bosses are easier to get to and farm...

^^^ There's your reason..the more they are farmed the less they drop..thats why the old SF greens that dropped in grenths footprint were worthless after a few weeks (except yakslapper which held some value)

and SF and grenths bosses have more than 1 green.

Green items dropping from bosses are random, and they don't always drop. Some players are luckier than others, some have reported 30 kills of some bosses and no drops while others have said it drops within afew runs.

Party size does matter, because if the boss does drop the green it may be assigned to someone else. The less in the party the better as there's more chance of it dropping for you. If you have henchies in your party and it drops for them you will not see it. If you can then solo, that is, by yourself without anyone else (including henchies) then do so. If you need to take henchies then have a party of 5 or less, and keep & going killing until it drops.

From soloing the Vermin quite a bit I would say the boss only drops his green around 10% of the time (that's actually good since it's not worth anything).

And if you try to do it with a full party of henchies your chance of getting that green is pretty low.

Yep...I think I was pretty close to that 30 attempts, certainly no less than 25, when I was going for Amadis' Air Staff. After about an hour he must have either dropped it to get me to leave him alone or actually thought me worthy of it! They really are mean, those Canthan bosses!

Does it? It used to not be true. When she first came out had to kill her about 20 times before she would drop it.

This is false. I solo the Queen when I'm bored and she does NOT always drop the refuge.....though she does drop it alot!
