Ok,

Is anyone else with me here?

Balance the existing classes, including the 2 new ones with Nightfall and be done with class additions. After all, how many core RPG class types are there really? (Warrior, Magic-User, Monk and Ranger. - I know there are more, but you get the drift.)

We've got hundreds of skills that never get used by anyone. Give us content and stop tweaking the skills. I mean, how many times are they going to nerf smiting? This is the 3rd time by my count.

The new chapters should be all about content, content, content! All I'm saying is perfect what we've got and grow from that. I personally would gladly pay for more content and good skill balance, new weapons/armor (skins too), epic adventures, plastic surgeons and hair dye.

Personally, I've got 5 characters now and I'm not going to roll new ones, it's hard enough maintaining the 5 I've got.

i dont agree with you,(not flaming)I have 6 chars, 5 lvl 20s and a lvl 5(second time erasing lvl 20s to create new chars lol) and i like the new profs. as long as they keep them fresh.when we start getting the "monkey tamer" class i might not be so into it. i love new content, but i want both lol.

Sure that'd be good. Realistically though, are they likely to stop their business model, and development of chapter 4 due to discontent in the community? More content is okay, but is it likely to bring the same kind of reaction, particularly from the PvP side of the scale that extra classes would? No.

With the skill tweaking I really do wonder where they're getting some of their ideas from. Just when I thought they'd gotten less abusive after the Ether Renewal incident. Was smiting overpowered? I don't think many people would say it was. The only thing that comes to mind is Izzy saying he doesn't like smite. If the line was nerfed so unnecessarily just because Izzy doesn't enjoy playing smite, or some personal problem he's got with smite then we really are going downhill.

Divine Boon was changed to 10 second recharge earlier, there was a distinct shift and it already made the build dangerous to run. What then, is the need to nerf the healing? Skill changes like Purge Signet, Bane Signet...or good god, Banish...What exactly are they trying to achieve here? I'm not sure, but I get the impression the GW devs are herding the player-base. If a build or a class is used in a way that the GW devs did not envisage it to be used, but is not really overpowered, does that make it worthy of a nerf to cut away this style of play? I'm starting to think the answer might be yes.

Furthermore I think it's just time for Anet to man up to their mistakes. If they screwed up Ether Renewal then they need to fix it pronto, if they can't fix it then rework it. If they did something wrong in an update, or a later update completely negates the need for an earlier update, they need to tweak it immediately. For example if they added something at a later date that made AoE very much weakened, almost useless, would it not then be reasonable to un-nerf Aura? Instead we get stacks of nerfs that just made particular niches completely unplayable...many of these nerfs addressing the same basic issue as a previous set of nerfs. What exactly are they channeling us into?

total idioicy FTW...........dont make more then.......problem solved

lets see now

Nightfall only gives us the crumbs of content like

a whole new continent
new story
new heros better than tha avg hench
more quests
more missions

OH YES THEY ALSO SPENT MOST OF THE TIME ON

2 new character skins/animations
skills for them as well as items.

get your thumb out and compare the new content for old characters and compare the few new profession crumbs to the content cake
