You can't dye recurve bows?

I don't know if this is a bug, but I can't dye my recurve bow, yet you can with a composite bow? Am I missing something or is the something wrong? Please enlighten me, or fix the "bug". Cheers~

I thought you could dye any weapon except a green...

Yeap, that's what i thought, but the dye ont even go onto the bow, it will just stay in inventory even when i have clicked on the bow
