Preview characters for Nightfall

When i make the two new characters for the preview of nightfall will those character names still belong to me when i get the full retail version or are they reset?

names are kept

Also, keep in mind if you delete the placeholder character to remake the actual character if you want a better face or something; the name stays associated with your account for an hour after you delete it so you don't have to rush thinking someone will snatch up the name.

and will those characters still be there after the 10hour/14day is over (eg, will they be 'locked' like they did for factions, or will they be deleted like previous pvp-pretesting weekends?)

since you can keep the name the character is not deleted.

it is reset to starting status same as everyone else though

thanks.....that makes me feel better, since I am still on the fence about nightfall I figure I will try out the 10hour/14day thing and see if its worth it to buy or not......and if its good then I get another character slot out of it as well!

errrr; keep in mind the trial key it comes with is for Prophecies and Factions and can't be applied to an existing account. Doesn't give temporary access to Nightfall.....

But the event in two weeks does give access to nightfall for the weekend!

Oh, and to the Op, if you make a character for the nightfall event, it will be deleted after the event ends. You will lose everything on that character, including the name.

unless they changed some thing you DO keep the name but the character is reset to starting state
