Those guides are usually horrible and in this day and age they are notoriously wrong and outdated the moment they are available, especially with online-games.
The wiki is far more accurate and constantly updated, but obviously you can't carry it around which is the only good thing about those guides...

i buy the guide knowing that it is out of date before you get it but has a nice ordered book of labeled reference maps.
after the magnificent effort by the devs on the Factions maps which aside from being few small and far between werent even labeled.
no prima guide preorder this time as the devs might improve the maps further by leaving them out.
hell no

dont believe me? try to find the original Prophecies guide for under $50 used and ripped up with no map even.
although dont get me wrong-> if people are getting it for the skill info, maps, etc etc (the info that counts) you will be better off just waiting until its on guildwiki and the fan sites. Its probably already in print, which means it may or may not even be correct for next weekend.

glad to see you and hope you are getting back into *civilization* smoothly without some of the bumps i am familiar with
and i still like the unkle scrooge in the land of the pewegas
or the money contest that finished with him winning by his first dime and the length of string holding it
EDIT FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW
Quote:
| Although he often recalls his early days as a sharp-eyed prospector or a shrewd trader, Scrooge emerges as a tycoon in spite of himself. When a crisis arises, he relies on Donald and his nephews to solve it. Aided by the encyclopedic "Junior Woodchuck's Guide Book," Huey, Dewey and Louie rescue Donald and Scrooge: They concoct the noxious Oxide of Strombolium pill that debilitates the giant King Sturgeon in "Land of the Pygmy Indians," and capture the lemming that inadvertently steals the combination to Scrooge's money bin in "The Lemming With the Locket." |
