Hi, a question I've always had about resetting the anti-farm code:
Is it account linked or character linked? ie: if I overfarm with my monk, will PvPing with another character reset the code? Or do I have to reset the code using the same monk?
Thanks for your input.
Anti-Farm Code: Account or character linked?

Read this thread as it has been discussed many times. http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showt...php?t=10040354
**Please note this so called "in-depth guide" is full of BS. Even Gaile Gray had to laugh at this one saying it Quote:

Definitely an interesting bedtime read. Right up there with Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Little Red Riding Hood

wow Deacon Roswell, you sure do like to flame ppl for asking simple questions. Why not try to be more helpful and understanding of people simply asking a question?
Is being nice to other people on the forums who have NOT been horrible to you too much to ask?

The thing is no one knows for sure, and peoples experiences are not the same.
However it seems as if it's account based (my experience) so basically if you have a farming char playing the game with another char (I mean actually doing quests/missions) should help your farming char as well.
Again don't take my word for it since only some people at Anet really knows.

Is being nice to other people on the forums who have NOT been horrible to you too much to ask? Where was I not nice? Hell i even provided a direct link to a long thread with all the information he was asking for. There's no need to discuss it all again when there's a full thread already opened. If I wanted to flame and not be nice I would have said "use the search button before you post...read the forum guidelines before you post....like most other people. But I didn't.
What was the point of your post anyway? To misinterpret what I wrote and start a flame war?

as frequently just logging out helps reset the code, logging out to pvp with another character can only help. whether that proves its account based or not? meh, dunno.
ok and deacon you dont even know how to flame do you
, as that example isnt even flaming. you are just a genuinely polite person I bet.
