Of course, you can always go for the fancy stuff -- 15k each piece, plus extra material. The benefits are the same, only the appearance is different. But that's not in Droks anyway.

Look ahead at the armor requirements and start collecting (salvaging) the needed materials as you go and you'll save a ton of money. Guildwiki and other sites list what items salvage into which materials.
