/preorder not working?

I was able to add the Bonus Pak access key to my account, they are linked togather now. However I was not able to use the /preorder command on anyone of my characters except my Mesmer. It is very strange because the /preorder command only works on my mesmer and then 2 bonus items appeared in his inventory. None of my other characters is able to do this. Just nothing happens even though my inventory is empty. I have 5 other different character types in both PVP and PVE if that matters.

Is anyone else experiencing any similar problems?

It seems that only my warrior can get the bonus weapons. I spawned them on my warr a few hours ago so it might be that Anet doesn't want people to have the weapons yet so they disabled them.

Was anyone able to upload the weapons onto more than 1 character before the game update in the last hour?

I'm scared that this might be a 1 shot deal and that I uploaded these weapons onto the wrong character (mesmer) instead of the actual classes when they come out >_>

I would submit to support for this.

Mine preorder code said it already existed for my account when I typed it in. So I opened a support ticket.

You will be able to get it on all characters. They may be restricting it atm; but I'd say you'll definitely be able to use them in the PvE preview.

ive received my preorder package, and entered the key by adding it to my account. but when i type /preorder in a town/outpost, nothing happens. not even an "invalid command" warning. and help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Yes, the nightfall preorders are locked right now.

But I didnt know what forum I was browsing, and he didnt mention Nightfall, so I answered it like all preorders.

Though I was wrong there too, they recently re-added functionally to /preorder so it works like /bonusitems

1. Make sure you entered the key
2. The command only works in town
3. Make sure you have room on you

I added the bonus pack key in anyway even though it said it already existed and also i noticed that under my manage account I dont have sunspear and scythe nor the additional char slot when I buy nightfall.

Same here, I just got it from Fry’s Electronics (for $10 +tax) and entered the bonus key and got nothing. Plus I got that weird message before I added to cancel out, for some odd reasoning. None of the extra items appear in my, “manage key” section or the one extra character slot. I feel ripped off so I contact support, I am so ticked off it’s not even funny (okay maybe a little bit, but still).

/bonusitems worked for me, once i realized it had to be plural. And it worked on the two chars i used it on.

people forget fast, this same thing happend for factions, and it ended up not being a problem at all

Guys, it's supposed to do that. It'll say to hit cancel, but hit add anyway. It wont show up in key management til you add your Nightfall retail key(due to the bonus slot). And as concerning the bonus weapons, either they locked them until the pve preview event or they locked them til you add your Nightfall retail key. The weapons being unavailable may even just be a bug that I'm sure they've noticed by now and are working on.

You didn't get ripped off - you're not supposed to get anything at all in game until you activate a Nightfall retail key.

From the Setup screen of the PBP -> Install Client option, look at the first item in the attached picture.

Well that about clinches it; not even supposed to get the weapons until you add your Nightfall retail key. So the bug was that anyone was able to get them at all; not that people cant get them now

Jesus thats expensive. I got mine today for £1.99 (about $3) at my local game store.
