ok, so i go look at some farming builds, and i decided to try out some w/m troll farming. I got a nice axe build, and was doing great. However... i am not make the OMG OMG 5K A RUN that all those threads say u make... my profit per run is more like 500g(if that). So, am i doing something wrong? or are there just a bunch of liers out there. Anyways, it would be faster for me to just find a ff group with which i could get about 30k an hour with by selling the amber.

Average is about ~800g per run. If you followed the directions from the farmbuild you are not doing something wrong, theyre just liars.

k, ty, thats all i wanted to know. I'm very disappointed though. I guess il try my hand at farming greens. Any1 got any suggestions for which ones to go after?

None really, they are all overfarmed.
Though you can do Ghial pretty easily with E/mo or Mo/E.

I normally look at the Buy section of Ventaris Sell, If anyone wants a green over there, i PM them i can take care of it. Then i go farm it with a build in the farming section

Remember to identify the drops it adds an average of 15% or so, also go around the back and kill the giants as well, they drop a lot of runes (obviously depends on if your build can manage them).

What money you make on each run depends on how often you farm in that specific area and part of it is also luck. I've found that farming Trolls is a waste of time and doesn't make enough money for the time you spend on it.

I've made 80k+ from Shiro'ken farming in a week or so. And I haven't been farming it like crazy, I've just done a few runs each day.

Raven staffs FTW. Great source of fiber, err, I mean wood for the merchant.

Try running Droks...that's like 10k every time, and there's always customers. Other than that there's FoW beach soloing, UW solo, hydras (may be hard for warriors)... There's still a lot of stuff you can farm with a war.

If you want to farm greens with a Warrior, go for Sunreach, Ghial, and Jacquei (there are builds all over guru for these bosses )

First quesiton: I just asked this question in another thread...is FOW and UW only available if your nation/continent wins Hero's Ascent? I live in Asia, I play on the American District, and America never seems to have won this while I play.
Question 2: can Shiro'ken farming be done by a warrior?
a comment. If you own factions, Vermn farming at Senji's corner nets over 2000 G per run, not counting salvage drops, but counting vermin hide turn-ins. By run, I mean with one re-zone and return trip. But this run is much longer than a troll farm run, so I don't know if per time spent is better. Vermin don't drop runes too, but its very easy...easier than trolls. Also, farming the ... i'm at work and forgot what they are called... Kirin, and moss-monster type thing outside of Matsu keep net about 600G and the run is very short. I little frustrating and difficult sometimes though as there is much more likelyhood of dying mid-run.

Yes, you can only enter the Realms while your territory has Favor.

If you live in asia, you're most likely playing when the rest of the US is sleeping and Europe and Korea are getting started, so of course america won't likely have favor.

I've had 1 good drop from ettins, sup vigor but other than that not much luck. Be aware that most purples now only net you 25g so they may be worth more if you sell them without salvaging them from the armor?
Not tried troll farming yet and don't really think they are worth it for the pay out.
I do vermin runs, which are ok, you get the odd reasonable drop, had a fair few dyes drop, no silver or black though ;(
I don't farm lots, but I will need to do soon, to save some gold for new shiny things!

Yes you are doing something wrong. You're doing it about 9 months late. The trolls used to be a decent profit, especially before parchment was worthless. Since everyone and their brother started doing this for drops and power leveling, the drops have been nerfed to crap. The older farming areas are about worthless these days.

Same. I can make a bonfire out of the gajillion raven staves I've gotten there, but nothing good has dropped for me in quite awhile.

Seems to of been hit by the nerf-train...
In the few days leading up to last weekend when I started Shiro'ken farming, I got about 8-10 gold drops in 2 days of casual farming.
Didn't play until yesterday/today, and starting to see a huge loss in drops since I started, just under a week ago. :S

my suggestion would be to make an i-mesmer. you can solo underworld, hydras in the desert and a couple other locations. with hydras i make ~3k a run with gold and loot combined. no bs, for real.

I too thought I was hit by the farming code for a while, but I continued to farm Shiro'Ken and now I'm getting quite a lot of Gold Items... Best was 3 in one run.

i did farmed shiro´ken with mi monk mesmer but its quit hard,i think a mesmer monk would be best.Ifarmed trolls they are crap now,farmed minos also kinda crap,the only 2 things where i can still make like 2 or 3 k per run is the hydra farm where i emptyed almost all of skyward reach and warden in factions exit from arborstone but u can make less gold per run there.AND gold drops like man i dont even know what they look like now
