I could have sworn that Y was left/right, X was forward/backward and Z was up/down. Sorry. :P

This is true when dealing with 3 dimensions. Even though the game is indeed 3 dimensional, I was only referring to two dimensions as the third dimension has no baring on the conversation, thus I used the two dimensional scheme in order to cause less confusion to those who aren't axis-inclined.

Forget this, it's impossible. Getting really annoyed over it now. Get on the bridge, and by the time I reach the end, Togo is dead.
They don't even heal themselves, they just try to follow me while dying.

They don't even heal themselves, they just try to follow me while dying. You have to get them stuck in a corner somewhere so they can't follow.
I'd give better directions, but I didn't even have to think about it, it just came as the natural thing to do once I tried it after they died the first time. So I couldn't tell you exactly where I did it at.

Nah I decided it's too much effort. I'll get the last 0.2% somewhere else.

Hi Mournblade...
You're right. In most cases Z is the vertical axis, but there is at least one program that uses the right-handed world coordinate system in which case the vertical axis is Y. I've worked with both at the same time... and I'm blonde...

For anyone who wishes to map this bit...I did this several times with ease to make sure it works well. Full henchie party for me, all casters, my character was a monk/necro...so, no running skills needed.
Take Argo and the Talon (can't remember the name atm, the avicara fighter), kill the first mob with ease and then run up the stairs so that the fighter triggers the cutscene and locks the rangers in place. Now argo the mob on the stairs and move back to the position under the bridge, actually, a little further so that the mob is under the bridge. The bridge is the light grey line on the map, the trick is to now kill all the mobs that followed, not just the one who died under the bridge, you can necrotic up right away, but stay put and still call targets to kill the remaining mobs.
Now, hug the wall that is facing back the way you came, until you are at the very end, right before you have to turn left, this way, they will not follow and agro anything else. Piece of cake from there...enjoy mapping!

That's how I did it, though with a warrior/necro.

I just did it with another faster and easier way. . . The only thing u have to do is to take a hench, exit Imperial Sanctum, and cast recall on him. Then order him to go inside(forgot to say that u can do it with the new update) and then when u are inside as well go through the gate near where the storage is(as outpost) and pass trough it. . . then go on for explore
Hope that this hepls

This trick helped me get my last .1% opposed to organizing a Quarry party. Thank you all very much!

livingstone, supposing your Y theory is correct, what happens when you rebirth someone and they are placed over the bridge? (srry to be picking on this just now, didnt see this post before it was bumped XD)
btw, i will be trying this, togheter with the eredon terrace thing i did with necrotic traversal on the merchant, its gonna get me enough map to maybe not need jade quarry ^^
one question though, is this necrotic traversal thing im talkng about posted around here, or should i post it? its like the same one with recall/return that got nerfed, but it works ^^ havent managed to use it on saint ajekas though, got close...

Thanks a lot for this trick! Got me another .1% towards the title.

Does this glitch still work?
zottpudding
i just tried and i cant get it to work ... neither NT nor Rebirth ... not next to the gray area below the brigde, not under it... no chance.
so probably fixed... x.x

I also tried a few times myself, and couldn't get it to work. Shame I'm at 99.8%...that last .2% is a *(%#)$(
Sigh...well guess I'm off to strain my eyes till they bleed to find that last .2%

Die and Serve Me
hmm...Ive now tried this 3x using NT...no joy...Ive flagged my hench/heros to keep them from attacking too soon and, had a pile of bodies around the doorway...still did not work... as I keep reading over the info, one input says to be on the gray line -- which is just INSIDE of the doorway to the second room; another, seems to say that the spot is just before crossing the doorway into the 2nd room....I stood in the middle of the gray line and had a warrior attack me...we killed him exactly in the middle of the gray line...NT did not work...did the same thing in the doorway and just before entering the doorway...still did not work...Anyway -- at least for me -this is pretty tricky... HOWEVER, Im at 98.5 SO...will keep trying to get this to work... cheers & good hunting...
Die and Serve Me
Have attached a screen shot ... NT did not work -- again. To me I am in the middle of the gray line (or where it would be if the gray line actually went all the way across) mentioned earlier in the post. So, is this the right spot?
Thanks for the help...

They recently "fix" NT and you can no longer do this sort of thing

Well... darn...oh well...thank you for the information... I'm up to 98.8; figure if I can get banished and find a mapping party in the two competitive missions that will put me over 100%...
