The problem is aswell is they increment the graphics with each update. Now i was fine on the first loading screen, and the second, the thrid however, it's not so much fun. The camera's fine until it get's to that stupid waterwall. then it's OMG I LOVE LAGG TIME!!! I prefered the second one honestly, with the big whale, but the first wasn't bad with the picture of what seemed like a cross between kryta and pre searing Ascalon.

I got Props after factions was on sale so I've not see this campfire.... but it sounds cool

I got prophecies before factions was out but after they put the factions login in, so I've never seen it

I've never seen the Prophecies login. And everyone has different tastes, allowing us to choose a login screen would be great!!!

When I read the title, I thought you meant how we could arrange the character icons between pvp/rp, but I like the idea of choosing the background as well.

I really miss the first login. I realize it was in a different layout (displaying all the characters on-screen at once), but why not update it to the current way... just have the selected character standing in front of the fire. I already think the 6 month release plan is too rushed... sucks that we don't get to see the awesome login artwork after that.

Although the old Prophecies login wouldn't work, they could produce a new one.. And create all new ones free/ to buy

I've been wishing for that for a long time.

Gaile Gray already explained why they couldn't go back to the older login screens.

They would have to completely rework them. Which would most likely take time away from developing good chapters.

It's always good to have more choices!

Id like a link to that, as unless there have been MAJOR changes to the coding, I cant see how its that difficult to change. Im inclined to think it is the "advertising", also that theyd have to check your selected login screen every time you log in, and add the current "ad" and information screens if needed(extra bandwidth use). I really did like the original Prophecies login the best, the whale was kinda neat, but I still much prefer the old one.

Well, if you really want the music, you can still download it at least. But, the factions login (which really looked more like Tyria, especially with the volcano) screen was the best In my opinion, They made it look, really, pretty XD

I miss the proph logon and music, it was my favorite out of all three. Let me use it if I want to, after all, I own prophecies as well as nightfall (and factions).

The Music cycles, at least for me, once the Nightfall music ends, come the others.

I think the main problem is that they change the data of the login screen like when they change the graphics during the events.

They could make 'login locations' so you can have more than one, and your system stores in wich you are.

When I first got guild wars it was with the Factions backround. I absolutely loved it and espiacly liked the music. Now with Nightfall I just can't quiet get into the game as much because right away it has a totaly different feel a feel I don't like nearly as much as the Factions one. This has made it more boring to me. I think it would appeal to a lot more people initialy at least if you could choose the backround and the backround music for the login. Now that I've bored everyone with this long post I'll be going now.
