Trade account for 5 char slots

For thos who have extra accounts and do not want them to just hang around and not be useful. Should we be able to trade Anet 1 account key for 5 additional character slot keys. Is this a good idea?

Well first LEARN TO READ OK? I said for those who have EXTRA ACCOUNTS from before, should be able to trade them in for 5 additional slots since 10$ = 1 char slot and people paid $50.

How many people do you think have 5 EXTRA accounts sitting around not being used? I'm sorry but I think this is a ridiculous idea.

Considering Anet has said they will never merge accounts; I'd say this would never happen as it's right up that same alley.

Ork Pride, I hate to break it to you but you're the one that's wrong- you did write "5 account keys".

I'm assuming that he meant to say "1 account for 5 character slots".

beside the point it wont happen they do these things to make money why would they trade 5 char slots for an account key...

however it would be beneficial to them and to the GW community if we could merge our accounts together...


say i have 3 accounts... should be able to merg them together... help anet keep track and help us keep track...

some like them seperated... im not interested in that...

id like one loggin and be able to choose which i want to play and be able to transfer inside the account... but hey whatever...

it's against the EULA to have more than 1 account if I remember correctly.

The only way I can see people have extra accounts is if they buy multiple copies of the game from PlayNC or something. Which, really now is a waste.

And, I dunno, the only way someone now would have more than one owuld be if they didn't link their Prophecies, Factions, NIghtfall account keys together.

I don't see this happening anytime soon, I can see alot of problems with this.

For one, what if someone started stealing keys from friends, thus getting their accounts discontinued so they could have extra characters on their one account without paying?

It is quite possible, we all have a Guild Wars box someplace, at least i"d think most of us do, I can imagine someone would be a big enough slime to go do something like that to some friends if they got ahold of the account numbers.

So, no I don't see this happening anytime soon, too many problems and possibly too difficult to ensure all of the account keys were yours in the first place. Nice idea but will never fly.

Prophecies is only around £20 now.

£20 = $38

I could buy Prophecies for $38 then trade it in for $50 worth of Character Slots.

Proph special edition is £9.99 at game. Thats $19.


5 char slots for the price of 1.5, yeah id like that. lol.
