I'm having a hard time in Grenth's Footprint. Once I pick up the High Priest, Grenth's Balance becomes useless. I can kill everything okay except the bosses. With them, it's just knocking each other around. Should I just leave him?

Also, I noticed in some of the pics for Grenth's Footprint you have different builds. Should I not try to clear the whole place at once?

Kill everything (with Alkar 'attached') first until only the boss is left. Then, if you take sprint. you can run away from the boss fairly easily, once you lose his aggro talk to alkar and leave him at a safe distance (so he won't heal you) Go back to the boss on your own and then you can use grenths balance and take the boss out without Alkar getting in the way.

That's the exact way to do it

I was just reading over your OP, and I read the spider farming build, and I'd say the directions are a little unclear. Like, when u get to the cave, if you charge the 3 dryders, then you get mobbed by like 20 spiders. I still like the build though mines different, but still nice.

An excellent guide I have to say, but this part bothers me:

You didn't actually finish the mission, did you? I don't see how it could be possible to kill the Dolyak Master boss at the end of the mission, and Evennia refuses to run past him.

I did finish the mission but it's quite a long time ago. I remember that the Dolyak Boss got killed by the mursaat since I can't lure all the mursaat at once. I still remember the time that I killed the mursaat before they reached the Dolyak Boss. You won't be able to finish the mission then.

The location of Darda Goldenchief (the Dolyak Master boss) used to be random, but it's fixed location now, so that explains few things. The Mursaats can't reach nor kill him anymore, because of the catapult fire, and thus it's currently impossible to finish Ice Caves of Sorrow by soloing.

hm..I didn't know that. Maybe I can switch a skill with something like Distracting Blow to disrupt his healing skills. I should try it out sometime Thanks allot for the information! I'll change it soon.

Maybe, the fat thing stands in catapult fire, I remeber killing the monk boss in Iron mines of moladune by doing that.

It's possible to lure him to catapult fire, thought I'm not sure would it be enough to kill him. He had another Dolyak Master in his group when I tried to solo this mission (months ago), and together they were strong enough to survive.

Witte, Distracting won't do, you'll have to disable his healing.

Yeah that's true..I'll just keep it to the original build and try to lure him to the catapults next time. I'll take a sleep now.

Problem with that Monk Boss is also that, if there is any Mursaat still alive...which happens quite a lot recently. Then the Dwarves won't engage the Mursaat. Right after the bridge the Mursaat stops going further. They just wander there a bit. Even into the agro range of the Dwarves. But nothing will happen.
I've seen this thing happen quite often. Not sure why that is.

Already been done. I remember a long time ago, someone posted a build to solo Maw the mountain heart.

I believe it was something like this:

Charge (E)
Sprint
Balanced Stance
Dolyak Signet
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Healing Signet

I am not sure about the excact skill setupt, nor what the last skill used was. I do remember that it was a riposte build.
