OK so here it is. I have a Fire staff that I modded with two HP upgrades.. I don't remember which upgrade was for which HP amount.. As you look at your Staff one mod is listed above the other..Which one listed is the staff head and which one is the staff wrapping...

It adds the descriptions in the order you add the mods. The most recent one is always on the bottom i believe. So there's no way to tell.

FWIW, good hale mods tend to be rarer, so if one is lower, I'd bet its the hale prefix item.

They arent rarer to me, They just seem like that because more of them get sent to the merchant because a perfect hale mod costs pennies so it isnt worth trying to sell to most people.

back to op, i think the only way to decipher is unfortunately to remember which order you apply them.... iirc, the newly added mod will have the effect at the bottom'est (if that makes any sense)
