Upload all the soundtracks and bonus tracks on Directsong into the Gw.dat and make it possible to "unlock" the bonus tracks by using the in game store. This way we won't have to use the rubbish Directsong site and the rubbish installer they provide. The bonus tracks will simply, just as the original tracks which come with the game, lay dormant in the Gw.dat file until you unlock them on your account. No more problems, nice and clean.
Also, send an email to the buyer linking to a separate download location where you can download the tracks with license and all that crap. People can download it from this place if they want to hear it outside the Guild Wars game.
EDIT: One more thing, add a "use directsong" checkbox to the sound options tab. If you get tired of hearing the bonus tracks you can simply uncheck the box and listen to the original music.
EDIT 2: Yet another thing, please don't respond with "just turn down the volume and use WinAmp". Yes we know we can do that, this is simply for people who want to listen to Guild Wars music.
Directsong and in game store...

You mean Even if I downloaded the Sorrow's Furnace pack and the Extra half hour for Factions CE, I have to manually run them because it does not do it automatically ingame?

No, if all goes as planned the music you downloaded and installed will be integrated in the game.
All I'm calling for is a way to do it from inside the game, e.g. the in game store. When you download the music from directsong it stores the music separately on the computer and people have been having problems with getting it to work inside Guild Wars, including me.
So I'm just asking for the music to be uploaded to the Gw.dat file on ALL computers, and if you buy it from the store it will simply be unlocked. LoL I hope it's clear now...

The reason it's the way it is is so you can play the music WITHOUT being in the game. Embed it in gw.dat and you won't exactly be able to play it outside GW will you?

Also the DirectSong files are higher quality than the ones in game. Would make little sense for everyone having to download 300 megs of something they probably wouldn't use.
