it all depends on the store. check with your local retailers to see what they are offering. some charge for it, some refund the price when you buy nightfall, some offer it free when you preorder.

you sure? according the guildwars.com it is called: "Guild Wars Nightfall Prerelease Bonus Pack" and the cover of the package says "bonus pack" on it.

As far as I know, EBGames are the only ones offering the free preorder pack, when you preorder the game.

Actually, it's physically stated as being a bonus pack... or am I wrong again? That's what it said when I pre-ordered mine^^.

Also it is kinda free since you get a refund at the shop when buying the actual game.

Places like EBGames are Franchises so it's understandable that some would have their junk in order and others, like the one in my town, haven't got a thing worth buying there. I don't know how the EBGames and Gamestops are where you people live, but mine are nothing but XBox / PS2 / Gamecube trash wall to wall. There is very little evidence of PC related merchandise in those stores.

I can't even get anything PC at Circuit City. Every blue moon or so I'll see advertisements in their Sunday ads about some random game, but every single time I've been in there I have had no luck finding it. It's basically a store full of old "classic" DVD titles, Big TVs that I'd never waste my money on, and a huge area dedicated to all the crappy music people are coming out with these days.

The only place I have a chance of getting anything at is evil BestBuy. But of course, being evil, my BestBuy won't shelve the bonus pack until the very last day of the preview event.

It's not that I'm not shopping in the right places, it's that the right places don't exist.

Apparently you're supposed to be able to buy the bonus pack on amazon.com, but I have a hard time trusting my account numbers to a company with such a trashy web design.

Gamestop now has a 10 dollar order up for it as well as the 5 dollar combo starter kit (you just have to hunt for it)

i should have said it is a retail box you buy and not the free item bonus pack we are used to

Most UK places I have found have them packaged, I just got one emailed ot me after my pre-order, which I wasn't expecting.

you dont need the prerelease to get into the event and the slot is not available until you use the RETAIL KEY anyway

my local gamestop told me that it was not included even if you pre order. I may need to go knock some heads together.
