After reading http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...=mini+pet+code I am pissed at the replys you people gave Hutton. First off the game DOES NOT state then in the process of deleting a character you will lose anything and everything that character has in his/her inventory. So therefore, a new character would NOT know this. And also, dont just say oh its only 90k or so to buy one just go farm. Some people actually have lives, may be hard to belive for some of you and you may be jealous of them, but its true. Some people aren't devoted to this game like some of you may. So therefore Hutton is not wrong with what he did. The game does not warn people at all that their items will be lost in the process of delting a character. Also new players arent going to know about the storage, so you cant say that she should have put it in sotrage so its her fault.

i agree with ^^..it does state it in the process of deleting a character as a matter of fact. How on earth does this have to do with someone having a life or not? She lost the pet because of her own mistakes, maybe hutton should've explained stuff to her then if shes a total newb. Hutton is wrong IMO.

AS for the Dragon:
I agree that it should be discussed more in documentation and such. It was a "last minute" thing so it didnt get all the press.

AS for "The game doesnt tell you you lose the items on your character when you delete it!"
I dont even think that statement deserves a reply...Where do you think the items on your character go? Character Limbo until you put them on another character? Why do you think you have to Retype the characters name and confirm it when deleteing? That doesnt tell you "WAIT, There must be a reason they are making me make sure I REALLY REALLY want to delete it"?

His argument in that first post (I didnt write the thread) was that They should have told them or included instructions that said the dragon was 1 time use, and not account based all ALL OTHER bonus items in the game so far. Not that she didnt know that items were deleted with the character...

It's just common sense. When you delete something, you get rid of it. Therfore if you delete a character, you get rid of the character and everything he/she has. Where did they think their stuff was going to go anyway? It reminds me about how we need to put labels on everything, and when they are read, people say - 'Who the hell would do that?' It also reminds me of this article I read about this can of pepper spray that has a warning label saying 'Do not aim at own eyes'.

Yeah it does kinda suck that it doesn't warn you. But making a new thread to voice your response to a thread that was closed over a month ago wont change the world.
