How do i get a pet other than meladarues in pre

I have not gotten a pet yet but i do not want a stalker i tryed to get a bear but it had a anti thing is there a way around that?

Well its very hard but definitely can be done just takes lots of time and teamwork. Instead you can get a moa bird or once you leave pre searing there is tons of others pets to get.

You have to make sure that you have the charm beast spell on your skill bar. When you get near the bear hit the spell and wait.. Do not fight the bear just wait till it stops attacking you.. Good luck

i think its imposible ive tryed it like a thousand times can anyone who has done it tell me what to do?

All you need to get a bear is a monk that knows what he is doing. I know people that stay in Fiobles Folly and charge 50gp to help you charm.

It is impossible to SOLO charm a prebear.

In Post Searing...You can get pets like mad everywhere

You can get a Warthog just outside Ascalon city. I don't think it always spawns but I got a warthog for my ranger there in pre.

Yes....you need to release your previous pet first. There are varies "Tamers" that will take your pet away from you so you can get a new one.

Also forgot to mention Strider (Moa Birds) - they are common.

I really dont suggest the bear as a serious pet, its very slow and doesnt do any more dmg than any other pet.

Only peopel that get them in pre is pre-only characters because they are a symbol in pre.
