Questions about the 2x scroll drops patch

It seems as though they havent removed this patch. Is it permanent?
I've also seen a lot more dye drops lately.

If so, would a higher drop rate of scrolls and dyes result in a lower drop rate of rare weapons and greens?

Coincidence.

Nothing about drop rates so far can be statistically proven.

I believe the last update fixed it.
