Gaile Gray (the face behind the myth)

I'm not sure it's a good idea to have a forum topic that could so easily invite a personal attack against someone that so many here adore. Eventually some creep is going to post something mean or rude against Gaile personally.
Sure, say all you want against Gaile, Anet Community Relations manager, but lets leave her personal life out of this.

The pictures are exposed on another fan site, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link here. |

*rolls eyes* You know, at GC, I almost said "Oh, please, no pictures cause they're always awful!" But I made soooo many friends there, and saw so many I was already friends with, and that would have been abominably snotty of me. (Or is that snooty?
)
Anyway, that really is sort of an awful picture of me. I mean, I was sleep deprived, jat lagged, I'd lost my hairbrush, and the place was about 110 degrees on stage, so I was really ratty. There might be a better one. Somewhere. But... well... probably not. *sigh* (I'm done apologizing I don't look like my Ranger.
)
GW Story: I told everyone a GC, "Look, you're welcome to a picture, but not of me but with me, please because that's just more friendly." (As if I wanted pictures of me alone. Ughie!)" Anyway, 'cause I believe in "truth in advertising," I honestly did warn everyone, "I haven't had a decent picture taken of me since I was 6 years old." (Which is the age at which my mother had my hair cut short and then began nagging me to cut my hair. Weekly. For years and year until she gave up in despair, knowing she was never going to win that one.
)
No, I am not anyone's grandmother, Ulivious. *snicker* I like to think of myself as sort of the Auntie Gaile sort, though, because aunts are allowed to be a lot more fun than mothers or grandmothers, you know?
